Graduated in Art Education – Plastic Arts from the Federal University of Pará, he is a painter by trade and since 2004 develops his artistic research in the relationship between portrait themes and identity, having as main object the Amazonian man.

Working on various supports, such as oils on canvas, interventions, and site-specific, with this theme held individual exhibitions Malerei – oder die Fotografie als Gewaltakt (Kunsthalle Lingen, Germany, 2016), You are the Seta (Periscope Gallery Contemporary Art, Belo Horizonte, 2016), Red Pages (Galeria Blau Projects, São Paulo, 2015) and Enlistment (Sesc Galleries in Belém, Ji-Paraná, Macapá, São Luís, 2015-2017), besides participating in collective exhibitions, among them (Art Museum of Rio de Janeiro, 2016), 31st Biennial of Arts SP (Pavilhão Ciccillo Matarazzo, São Paulo, 2014) and its itineraries in 2015 in Campinas (Sesc Campinas) and Portugal (Serralves Museum) and Pororoca: The Amazon in the MAR (Museum of Art of Rio, 2014).

Among the scholarships and awards are the Lingener Kunstpreis 2016 (Germany), Rede Nacional Funarte Artes Visuais (2015), the Seiva Art Projects Prize (Cultural Foundation of Pará, 2015), Funarte Stimulus Grant for Production in Visual Arts (2014) , The Visual Arts SIM Award for the Integrated Museum System (2008) and the 2nd Grand Prix of the Salão Arte Pará (2007).
