Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and Cinema at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, FAAP, Brazil.
Her artistic investigation focuses on the creation on photography apparatuses for the captation, reconstruction of the movement and presentation on video, installation and photography. Her works have a strong procedural character and are generally part of larger investigation projects.In series such as ERBF, Escafandro, Bitacora and Vostok she develops complex geographical novels that ramify and are formalized in different medias.
The artist won awards and fellowships for research and development such as the Marc Ferrez Photographic Creation Award to develop the Project BITACORA (2011/2012). As a result of this research, published the artist book “Cuarderno de Bitácora” and in 2011 participated of the “The Arctic Circle” an expeditionary residency to the North Pole aboard a sailboat. The photographic work done during the expedition won the Brasil Fotografia Award for Contemporary Research (2012).Participant of the “Iland Session – Visitas a Ilha”, 9º Bienal do MERCOSUL (2013), she is developing her new film/book/vinyl project called “VOSTOK”, a fictional journey to a submersed pre-historic lake in Antarctica.
